Breadline Project

Welcome to the Breadline Project: A Harmony of Hope in Banbury Welcome to our very first blog post! At the Breadline Project, we believe that access to fresh, nutritious food is a basic human right, not a privilege. Since we opened our doors in December 2021, our mission has been simple: to support our neighbors with dignity, love, and zero barriers. What Makes Us Different? We know that a sudden drop in finances can happen to anyone. That’s why we operate on a "Zero-Barrier" model: No Membership Fees: Unlike other models, we don’t charge you just to join. No Paperwork: We require no vouchers, no referrals, and no ID. Total Accessibility: Everyone is welcome, regardless of their circumstances. How the Pantry Works We collect surplus food from local partners like Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and M&S that would otherwise go to waste. Suggested Donation: We kindly suggest a £3 donation per visit (or £4 on Saturdays) to help us keep our wheels turning and our shelves restocked. Bring a Bag: To help us stay sustainable, we always ask our visitors to bring their own reusable bags. Looking Ahead: Expanding Our Reach Thanks to our incredible community and partners like CN Glass, & JDE we are currently working on a community welcome space and exploring "Neighborhood Pop-Ups" to bring the pantry directly to you. Visit Us We are located at 4 Cherry Road, Banbury, OX16 0RL. Tuesdays: 11 AM – 1 PM Thursdays: 5 PM – 6:30 PM Saturdays: 10 AM – 12 PM Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we are ensuring that no one in Banbury has to face the pinch alone.
