Breadline Project

FOOD INSECURITY

Food insecurity refers to a lack of reliable access to a sufficient amount of quality, affordable and nutritious food.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Our clients receive a  supply of food and may visit us without an appointment or voucher.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donating money, gift cards, food, and your time are a few ways you can help us provide food assistance.

Food Pantry

As the cost of living rises, people are juggling how the household income is best spent and may be making difficult decisions to choose how money is spent.

Food Pantries are also a great resource, not only for people to access nutritious low cost food but to also help reduce food wastage.

The BREADLINE PROJECT partners with local organisations to deliver the ‘Your community Pantry’ model, to increase access to local food across Banbury

For only £1 per visit get you access to food including fresh fruit and vegetables and store cupboard favourites, which could often provide goods valued between £15-20 or more!

. No vouchers or appointments are necessary. Subject to availability, we provide clients with cereal, rice, canned fruit, vegetables, beans, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, canned meat, eggs, milk, frozen meat, and bread. We appreciate being able to provide fresh produce when available. The total quantity of food is dependent on the household size. Personal care items such as soap, toilet paper, toothpaste and brushes, shampoo, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and baby diapers are offered to clients when available.

SUPPORT THE BREADLINE PROJECT FOOD PANTRY

The Banburyshire Area community Food Pantry is one of the front line Redistributors of food assistance in Banbury, assisting families in need from Tuesday through Saturday. Every pound of your support is crucial in order to provide food assistance to over 200 families each month.
